Why is Brook special?
From the start, Brook has innovated and pioneered key developments in the field of young people and sexual health. Brook pioneered work on confidentiality and work with young people under 16. Brook has pioneered outreach work - taking advice and services to young people in places they are familiar with. In particular, Brook concentrates this work on the needs of those who are harder to reach - ethnic minority communities, those in care, rural communities, and lesbian and gay young people.
