Rates of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among young people in Britain are soaring. Our teenage pregnancy rate is still the highest in Western Europe. It’s clear that many young people still aren’t getting the confidential and reliable sexual health services and advice that they desperately need.
Brook relies upon the generosity of its supporters and donors to fund its work with young people.
By making a donation you can help us:
• support young people who need information on sexual health through our confidential helpline, on-line and text message services, and our website. Last year more than 20,000 young people used these services and there were over half a million visits to our website.
• support the 17 Brook Centres around the country who work with more than 180,000 young people every year.
• develop new resources for teachers and other professionals working with young people, to help them make sure young people have the information they need to make informed choices about their sexual health.
• campaign for long-term change so that every young person is guaranteed comprehensive sex education at school and has access to confidential sexual health services designed to meet their needs.
